Offers scholarships to Paralyzed Veterans members and their families so that they may achieve their educational goals. Applications are due June 1, 2009.

Air Force Association Spouse Scholarship

Encourages Air Force spouses worldwide to pursue associate/bachelor undergraduate or graduate/post-graduate degrees.

America's Child - Higher Education Assistance

Offers higher educational assistance for the children of our military heroes by providing tuition assistance, books, supplies and other higher educational expenses to enrolled students at accredited two- and four-year colleges, universities and recognized trade schools.

Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA) Educational Foundation

Awards $2,000 scholarships to persons on active duty in the uniformed military services, Veterans, and their spouses or dependents, who are currently enrolled full time in an eligible degree program at an accredited 4-year college or university in the U.S.

Armed Forces Relief Trust

Collects and disburses donations in support of Service Members and their families in need, including assistance with airfare, special medical attention, college tuition for the children of soldiers and more.

Army Aviation Association of America Scholarships (AAAA)

Awards scholarships and interest-free loans annually to members of AAAA and their spouses, unmarried siblings, unmarried children, and unmarried grandchildren of current and deceased members. Some scholarships are specifically reserved for enlisted, warrant officer, company grade, and Department of the Army Civilian members.

Chief Petty Officer Scholarship Fund

Gives funds to provide educational opportunities for spouses and children (natural born, adopted or stepchildren) of all Chief Petty Officers.

Coast Guard Exchange System Scholarship Program

Provides college scholarships to students who are dependents of Coast Guard active duty, reserve and military retired members, current civilian NAF and APF employees and current Coast Guard Auxiliarists that meet eligibility requirements.

Continuing Education Assistance (VFW)

Gives high school graduates at the VFW National Home for Children opportunities for advanced training at a college, trade school or special instructional institution.

Dolphin Scholarship Foundation

Scholarship fund to assist children of the Submarine Force in attending colleges and universities.

EOD Scholarship

Grants scholarships for students enrolled or planning to enroll full-time as an undergraduate in a U.S. accredited two year, four year, or vocational school. Applicant must be a family member, enrolled in DEERS, of an Active Duty, National Guard/Reserve, retired, or deceased Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician.

Folds of Honor Foundation

Provides educational scholarships for dependents and spouses of Service Members who were either killed or disabled while serving and defending our nation. Begin the application process online.

Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund

Provides educational scholarships to children of active duty Service Members who were killed or permanently disabled in action or who are currently certified as POW or MIA. Create an account and apply for a scholarship.

Grand Canyon University Military Scholarship Program

Provides a military scholarship to veteran, active duty and retired military personnel and their spouses Military Tuition scholarship that discounts the per credit cost for its courses to the amount that is reimbursed through the military tuition assistance program, enabling undergraduate students with a military record to obtain a baccalaureate degree with no out-of-pocket cost.

Hope for the Warriors

Provides financial assistance, wish grants, spousal scholarships, transitional adaptive housing through the Warrior House program, a support group for spouses and other family support services.

John A. Keller Scholarship

Offers scholarships to dependents of members in the Chief Warrant and Warrant Officers Association who are high school seniors or attending college.

Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Association

Offers the LA Fleet Reserve, Sam Rose and the Allie Mae Oden Memorial Scholarships to the spouse, dependents and grandchildren of active duty Fleet Reserve family members.

Liberty University's Heroes Fund Scholarship

Offered to Service Members and Veterans who were wounded in the Gulf Wars (Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, or Operation Iraqi Freedom). Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation, Inc.

Provides financial assistance for scholarships and health care to children of Marines or federal law enforcement personnel who were killed on duty or died under extraordinary circumstances while serving our country at home or abroad.

Marine Corps League - Scholarship Program

Awards scholarships to the children and grandchildren of Marines who have lost their lives in service to their country and to children and grandchildren of members of the Marine Corps League and its Ladies Auxiliary. The foundation also administers the Chesty Puller Scholarship trust for cadets enrolled at the Marine Military Academy in Harlingen, TX.

Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation

Provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships to children of current or former Marines pursuing higher education at accredited universities and colleges or vocational schools.

Military Order of the Purple Heart's Scholarship Program

Offers competitive scholarships to members, spouses, widows, dependents and grandchildren of the Military Order of the Purple Heart.

Military Spouse Program at Excelsior College

Offers spouses of Service Members distance education opportunities at reduced rates for undergraduate studies. Spouses of wounded warriors that can demonstrate a financial need may apply for the Military Scholarship Program.

Military Spouse Scholarship Program

Awards scholarships to spouses of Uniformed Services members (active duty, National Guard and Reserve, retirees, and survivors) to obtain professional certification or to attend post secondary or graduate school. Scholarships range in amount from $500 to $1,000 and may be used for tuition, fees, and school room and board.

Naval Special Warfare Scholarships

Grants scholarships to children and spouses of active duty SEALs or SWCC (Special Warfare Combatant Crewmen) who are starting college or continuing college, full-time or part-time, with the goal of graduating with an Associates or a Bachelors degree.

Navy League of the United States Scholarship Program

Provides financial assistance to the dependents and direct descendants of sea service personnel for college and university expenses.

Navy Supply Corps Foundation Scholarship Program

Provides financial assistance for undergraduate studies to family members (child, grandchild or spouse) of a qualifying Supply Corps officer or supply enlisted member. Includes a Memorial Scholarship program for children of Supply Corps officers who have died on active duty since 2001.

Navy Wives Clubs of America (NWCA) - Scholarships

Provides information on scholarships for NWCA members and children of enlisted members of the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.

Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society Education Programs

Provides members of the Navy and Marine Corps and eligible family members and survivors with needs-based scholarships and interest-free loans for educational purposes.

Patriot Foundation

Provides the Unit Scholarship Fund that educates children of 82nd Airborne soldiers killed in Iraq /Afghanistan, and children of current, retired and former Army Special Operations soldiers.

Ranger Memorial Foundation Scholarship Fund

Grants up to 25 annual $1,000 competitive scholarships to Army Rangers and their dependents.

Scholarship for Graphic and Web Design Careers

Offers the Louis H. Schilt Memorial Scholarship to spouses of Service Members injured in the line of duty who are interested in pursuing a career in graphic or Web design. All required supplies, including state-of-the-art Apple iMac computers and Adobe Creative Suite software, are provided to scholarship recipients at no cost.

Scholarship for Military Aviators

Encourages young men and women to become military pilots through scholarships that provide funding for pursuing a career as a military aviator, a military career through a Navy, Army or Air Force ROTC program and funds programs for high school students who are interested in flying.

Scholarships for Military Children

Scholarships awarded at every commissary for payment of tuition, books, lab fees and other related expenses. Open to dependent unmarried children under age 21 (23 if enrolled as a full-time student) of active duty personnel, Reserve/National Guard and retired military members or survivors of deceased members.

Seebee Memorial Scholarship Association

Provides educational assistance for full-time study to children and grandchildren of Seabees.

Society of the Daughters of the United States Army (DUSA)

Scholarships for the son or daughter of an active, retired or deceased U.S. military Service Member whose family resides at West Point (or within a 35 mile radius of West Point) at the time the scholarship is awarded.

Society of the First Infantry Division - Scholarships & Grants

Provides scholarships for children of soldiers killed while serving in combat with the Division and in peacetime training accidents, and for children and grandchildren of former members of the Division. Also provides emergency assistance grants for airfare, housing and other needs.

Special Operations Warrior Foundation College Scholarship

Offers college scholarships, financial aid and educational counseling for children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps Special Operations personnel who were killed in an operational mission or training accident.

Provides free information on preparing for and funding education beyond high school.

Tailhook Education Foundation

Grants undergraduate educational scholarships to spouses and dependents of Service Members who serve or formerly served in the Navy as Naval aviators, flight officers, air crewmen, carrier aviation air wing or company personnel.

ThanksUSA Scholarship Program

All dependent children, age 24 and under, and all spouses of Active-Duty U.S. military Service Members are eligible to apply for scholarships with ThanksUSA.

That Others May Live Scholarships

Provides post-secondary educational scholarships to children whose U.S. Air Force member parents or guardians were lost in a personnel recovery mission, training or other personnel recovery collateral mission.

Undergraduate Scholarship Program - CIA

Assists students, including disabled students, with completing an undergraduate degree and provides work experience with the Central Intelligence Agency. Applications due starting July 15 to November 1, 2009.

VA Survivors' & Dependents' Educational Assistance (SDEA)

Education and training opportunities for eligible dependents of certain Veterans. May be used for degree and certificate programs, apprenticeship and on-the-job training. See fact sheet on VA SDEA program.

Veteran of Foreign Wars (VFW) Veterans' Tribute Scholarship Program

Program of the VFW provides scholarships for children and grandchildren, ages 16 to 18, of all U.S. military Veterans, active duty, Reserves and National Guard. For an application, contact the VFW National Headquarters at 816-756-3390.

Women's Army Corps Veterans Association Scholarship

Offers $1,500 scholarship to the relatives of Army Service Women. This scholarship is based upon academic achievement and leadership as expressed through curricular activities and community involvement.
