Works to promote and enhance self-worth and development in boys and girls through a variety of programs and services. Includes information on Youth Centers, which are formed through partnerships between BGCA and the military to provide outreach to children of service members.

Military & Family Live Consultant (MFLC) Child & Youth Services (CYS) Program

Clinical consultants augment child behavioral services by addressing short-term problem resolution such as school issues, deployment and reunion adjustments, and parent-child communications.

Military Family Network

Connects military families with their communities and organizations that can help them. Includes a job bank and a Web page called Online Fun for Military Children.

National Guard Child & Youth Program - Youniversity Mall

Supports the social, emotional and academic needs of National Guard children and youth through this interactive "mall" Web portal that provides educational resources and fun links.

National Military Family Association Children & Youth Information

Provides information and resources for military children and their families including Web sites, book selections, letter writing campaigns and research dealing with children and deployments.

Navy Child & Youth Programs

Information on developmental child care and youth recreational programs and services for eligible children and youth ages four weeks to 18 years of age. Apply for child care.

Operation Purple - Free Summer Camps for Military Kids

Provides free summer camps for military children who have or will experience deployment.

Operation: Military Kids

Connects children of deployed soldier parents with people and organizations in their hometown. Children participate in recreational, social and educational programs, including camps, Speak Out for Military Kids and Mobile Technology Lab.

Our Military Kids

Provides grant money for school-aged children (3 years - 12th grade) of deployed and severely injured Reserve and National Guard personnel to participate in youth sports, fine arts and tutoring programs.

Speak Out for Military Kids

Trains military and non-military youth to establish Speakers Bureaus to advocate for military-connected youth affected by deployment.

Sportsmen's Legacy Foundation

A non-profit organization that provides quality, outdoor mentorships to children who have lost a parent or have a parent who has become physically challenged as a result of public service while serving as a member of the Armed Forces, or firefighting and law enforcement communities.
