Education, health care and family support for service members wounded while in service to their country.

Air Force Wounded Warrior Program (AFW2)

Program for airmen medically separated with combat-related disability, including Purple Heart recipients. Assigns a family liaison officer and provides transition assistance, case management, civilian job search assistance and help with filing of VA disability claims.

Army Warrior Care & Transition Office

Provides strategic direction and develops plans, policies and resources for warrior care initiatives and programs dedicated to the support, care, and healing of wounded, ill and injured soldiers.

Army Well-Being Wounded Soldier Information

Links to resources for wounded soldiers, including the CSA Wounded Soldier and Family Hotline, which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-800-984-8523.

Army Wounded Warrior Program (AW2)

Provides individualized support to severely wounded, injured and ill soldiers and their families. Soldiers are assigned to a Warrior Transition Unit or an AW2 Advocate and are eligible for a wide array of benefits and services to assist with career, education, finances, health care, insurance, retirement, transition and more.

Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP) - Wounded Service Members Initiative

Provides needs assessments, assistive technology (AT) and training free of charge to wounded service members in support of their recovery, rehabilitation and transition to employment. Wounded warriors may retain these AT devices upon separation from active service.

Federal Recovery Coordinator Program

DoD, VA and Department of Health and Human Services program that provides a lifetime commitment to link seriously wounded and ill service members, veterans and their families to public and private services in support of their recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration.

Marine for Life

Provides assistance to transitioning marines with employment, veterans benefits, education and community information, and provides links to service organizations and more.

Navy SAFE HARBOR Command - Severely Injured Support

The Navy's non-medical case management program for wounded, ill and injured sailors and their family members, which supports and assists sailors through recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration.

Warrior Care

Provides links to resources for warrior care, including service programs, DoD and VA resources, news and events, and more.

Wounded Warrior Regiment

Provides assistance to wounded, ill and injured marines, sailors attached to or in support of Marine units, and their family members throughout the phases of recovery. Telephone assistance is available toll-free by calling 1-877-487-6299.

Wounded Warrior Resource Center

Provides wounded Service Members, their families and caregivers with helpful information regarding military facilities, health care services and benefits. Toll-free assistance is available by calling 1-800-342-9647.
