On September 15, 2012, Argonne hosted its first "annual showcase"--replacing its past tri-yearly Open House event. The Transportation Technology R&D Center had a huge tent on Argonne's cafeteria lawn--inside were advanced technology vehicles, biofuel experiments, battery exhibits, and much more. Over 12,000 people visited and got a taste of the future of energy. View pictures of the Energy Showcase on Flickr.
