Geotechnical, Civil, and Environemental Design Section

The Portland District Geotechnical, Civil and Environmental Design Section has an in-house professional staff consisting of geotechnical, civil and environmental engineers, geologists, engineering geologists, landscape architects and civil engineering technicians allowing us to provide a broad range of varied expertise to the District and its customers.  Staff members are registered in their individual profession and most have advanced degrees.  The average experience level in the section is 20 years.

Technical Experience

The Geotechnical, Civil and Environmental Design Section offers a broad range of expertise related to the Design, Construction, Operation and Maintenance of Civil Works projects especially water resources related projects.  The Section is able to bring a broad based, highly diversified team to bear on any project.  Our resources include not only our in-house professionals but also those from other Districts, Laboratories, and from our open-ended architect-engineering contracts.
