Columbia Gorge Project Office

The Columbia Gorge Field Office, located at the Bonneville Lock and Dam Project, is a subunit of the Portland Resident Office. It administers construction and O&M contract work mainly on the Columbia River from the Bonneville Lock and Dam to the John Day/The Dalles Lock and Dam projects.

The most significant contract at present is:
Bonneville 1st Powerhouse Major Rehabilitation Phase II, started in 1996 and schedule for completion in 2008. It includes the replacement of all 10 powerhouse turbines, along with major rehabilitation work for the electrical and mechanical components.
