The Air Force has identified Balfour Beatty Communities (BBC) to privatize housing at Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D. Effective a date yet to be determined, BBC will be the "landlord, manager and maintainer" of all on-base family housing at Grand Forks, according to officials with the 319th Air Base Wing.

Balfour Beatty Communities, LLC, a subsidiary of Balfour Beatty Capital Group, Inc., is responsible for the development, renovation, operation and management of military housing privatization projects for the Departments of the Air Force, Army and Navy. The company is a leader in the military housing public-private partnership industry, and provides services to
members of the military and their families residing on or near 43 installations located in 20 states and Washington, D.C.
