Who is Eligible for this Program?
The Transition Assistance Program is available to the following members of Team Coast Guard:

Purpose of Program
The Transition Assistance Program is intended to provide information and assistance to all separating and retiring members to help them make an effective transition from military to civilian life. An integral aspect of this goal is to ensure that separating members are made aware of, and have access to, the numerous programs and services available to assist them in the transition process.

Requesting Services or Resources
These services or resources can be obtained by contacting the Transition/Relocation Manager at your Work-Life Staff. Work-Life Staffs are located at Integrated Support Commands CG-wide and the Headquarters Support Command.

Related Program Information
Each Transition/Relocation Manager can assist active duty members in scheduling a Transition Assistance Seminar. This seminar is intended to assist transitioning active duty members in preparing for the civilian job market. Spouses of active duty members are highly encouraged to attend, however travel funding is not provided. These seminars cover such topics as resume writing, interviewing techniques, salary negotiations, and successful attire strategies. Each seminar will also familiarize the member with the benefits they may be entitled to as a separatee or retiree.
