Who is Eligible for this Program?
This Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program is available to the
following members of Team Coast Guard:
Purpose of Program
The Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program is intended to establish
procedures for responding to sexual assault victims, reporting
requirements to ensure initiation and continuity of care, and geographic
separation of suspected offender and victim, if required.
Program Confidentiality
All parties involved shall, throughout the
investigative, medical and legal processes, ensure that the victim’s
confidentiality is protected to the greatest extent possible. Restricted
reporting is available for victims assaulted while on active duty.
Restricted reporting allows the victim to receive needed services
without triggering the need for command notification and criminal
investigation. For more information contact the
Employee Assistance Coordinator in your area or any military
healthcare provider.

Requesting Services or Resources
Contact the Employee Assistance Program Coordinator (EAPC) at
your
Regional Work-Life Office. Services can also be
initiated by contacting any military healthcare provider.
Related Program Information
Sexual Abuse incidents occurring between family members shall be reported
in accordance with the provisions in
COMDTINST 1750.7, Family Advocacy Program.
