U.S. Ambassador to Italy Visits 6th Fleet Headquarters
Naples, November 15, 2011 -- The Honorable David Thorne, U.S. Ambassador to Italy, visited senior leadership at the U.S. 6th Fleet headquarters on the Naval Support Activity in Naples, Italy, Nov. 15. Upon his arrival, Thorne received official honors from the U.S. 6th Fleet staff honor guard and was greeted by Vice Adm. Frank C. Pandolfe, commander, U.S. 6th Fleet.

Naples, October 9, 2011 -- For the second consecutive year the City of Naples hosted the Susan Komen Race for the Cure, a 5K run and a 2K walk along the waterfront to help promote breast cancer prevention and sports.

Commemoration Ceremony, September 11, 2011
Pompei, September 11, 2011 -- September 11, 2011 marked the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that took place in the United States of America. As a commemoration and sign of solidarity, the City of Pompei held a ceremony in the name of the nearly three thousand men, women and children who died in the tragic attacks to the Twin Towers in New York.
