Fire Restrictions

Effective August 1, 2006, the Modoc has issued fire restrictions.

Modoc Interagency Hotshot Crew

The Modoc crew earned recognition as a fully qualified ICH, after completion of a two-day certification process where they met or exceeded all requirements specified in the National Interagency Hotshot Crew Operation Guide.

Fire Hire

All Forest Service firefighters are hired through the Avue web site.

National Fire Plan

Modoc National Forest is achieving over 5,000 acres of fuels treatment annual in support of the goals of the National Fire Plan.
