Nuclear Energy Summit
On October 8, the Secretaries of Commerce and Energy hosted a Nuclear Energy Summit which brought together leading experts in their fields. Participants included national and regional regulators, financiers, academics, senior executives from the nuclear industry, and representatives from interested federal agencies, the Congress, and labor unions. Participants explored opportunities and challenges relating to the growth of the U.S. civil nuclear industry and the policies and programs needed to ensure U.S. nuclear industry competitiveness at home and abroad.
