South Carolina Access

Features a guide to available resources for older adults, people with disabilities, their family members and caregivers in South Carolina. Includes information on transportation, benefits, health care, assistive technology and more.

South Carolina Assistive Technology Program

Concerned with getting technology into the hands of people with disabilities so that they might live, work, learn and be a more independent part of the community.

South Carolina Telecommunications Equipment Distribution Program

Provides telecommunications equipment at no cost to South Carolina residents with qualifying hearing, speech, blind/low vision with hearing loss or dual sensory disabilities.

Described & Captioned Media Program

Promotes equal access to communication and learning through described and captioned educational media. The DCMP provides a free-loan media program of over 4,000 open-captioned titles (videos, CD-ROM and DVD).

Southeast ADA Center (DBTAC)

This Disability & Business Technical Assistance Center (DBTAC) provides training, information and technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and accessible information technology (IT) to people in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
