RANGE 3A (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Individual small arms familiarization firing, grenade launcher firing, and automatic weapons qualification
  • Alternate Uses: Basic weapons instruction
  • Weapons Capabilities: Small arms direct fire, machine guns, hand grenades, rockets (trainer)
RANGE 3B (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Instruction and application of hand grenade throwing
  • Alternate Uses: None
  • Weapons Capabilities: Hand grenades
RANGE 5 (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Fire and maneuver range for squad-sized units
  • Alternate Uses: Forward Arming and Refueling Point (FARP) Site
  • Weapons Capabilities: Small arms direct fire, small arms automated
RANGE 6:
  • Primary Use: Small arms direct fire multipurpose range
  • Alternate Uses: Basic weapons instruction
  • Weapons Capabilities: Small arms direct fire
RANGE 7 (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Direct and indirect live-fire range
  • Alternate Uses: Call for fire instruction in close fire support; close air support training, Class 3B and Class 4 lasers

RANGE 8 (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Machine-gun instruction, qualification, and familiarization firing

  • Primary Use: Mobile ambush range

  • Primary Use: Fire and maneuver live-firing for squad/platoon size units in the assault

RANGE 15A (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Fire and maneuver course designed to accommodate squad or platoon size units

MORTAR POSITIONS

GUN POSITION 13 (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Indirect mortar fire into Range 15 impact area for platoon-size units
  • Alternate Uses: Supports Range 15A Maneuver Exercise
MORTAR POSITION 15:
  • Primary Use: Mortar firing position for Range 15
  • Alternate Uses: None

ARTILLERY POSITIONS

GUN POSITION 4 (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Field firing artillery in support of training evolutions
  • Alternate Uses: None
  • Weapons Capabilities: Artillery
GUN POSITION 44 (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Artillery Gun Position
  • Alternate Uses: FARP, MG, Mortar Position, Class 3B and Class 4 Lasers

CONVOY COURSES

LIVE FIRE CONVOY COURSE (LFCC) (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Squad-size reaction to vehicle-mounted patrols
  • Alternate Uses: Squad-size reaction to foot patrols

CHARLIE DEMOLITION RANGE (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Demolition Training
  • Alternate Uses: None

  • Primary Use: Dynamic Entry/Assault Breacher Course

URBAN FACILITIES

MOUT FACILITY (Combined training facility) (SOP):
  • Primary Uses: MOUT Training. Includes 17 structures used for military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) training to include a lighted classroom. This facility can be tied into training on the MAC ranges.
  • Alternate Uses: None
  • Weapons Capabilities: Urban (non-live-fire)
MOBILE ASSAULT COURSE (MAC) BAY 1 (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Small arms dismounted assault
  • Alternate Uses: None
  • Weapons Capabilities: Small arms automated, small arms maneuver, urban
MOBILE ASSAULT COURSE (MAC) BAY 2 (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Small arms dismounted assault
  • Alternate Uses: None
  • Weapons Capabilities: Small arms automated, small arms maneuver, urban
MOBILE ASSAULT COURSE (MAC) BAY 3 (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Small arms dismounted assault
  • Alternate Uses: None

LIVE FIRE GRENADE HOUSE (LFGH) (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Small arms room clearing and hand grenade training
  • Alternate Uses: None

MOBILE ASSAULT COURSE (MAC) BAY 5 (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Sniper engagement
  • Alternate Uses: Dismounted urban assault
  • Weapons Capabilities: Small arms automated, small arms maneuver, hand grenades, urban
COMBAT TOWN (CBT) (SOP):
  • Primary Use: MOUT training. Includes 13 block structures. Used for training in military operations in urban terrain.
  • Alternate Uses: None
  • Weapons Capabilities: Urban (non-live-fire)
RAID/NEO TRAINING FACILITY (RAID FAC) (SOP):
  • Primary Use: Used for conducting raid training, Non-combatant Evacuation Operation (NEO) training, or for limited training in military operations in urban terrain. Includes a radar site complex consisting on one main administrative building and two large radar dishes.
  • Alternate Uses: None
  • Weapons Capabilities: Urban (non-live-fire)
URBAN TRAINING CENTER (UTC) ZONE A (SOP):
  • Primary Use: MOUT training (non-live-fire). Comprised of 64 modular buildings replicating a large urban environment. It can be used for raid training, non-combatant evacuation (NEO) training, or MOUT operations. UTC Zone A can be used in conjunction with other UTC zones for large scale scenarios and events. The use of SESAMs is authorized.

URBAN TRAINING CENTER (UTC) ZONE B (SOP):

  • Primary Use: MOUT training (non-live-fire). Comprised of 40 modular buildings replicating a large urban environment. It can be used for raid training, non-combatant evacuation (NEO) training, or MOUT operations. UTC Zone B can be used in conjunction with other UTC zones for large scale scenarios and events. The use of SESAMs is authorized.

URBAN TRAINING CENTER (UTC) ZONE C (SOP):

  • Primary Use: MOUT training (non-live-fire). Comprised of 60 modular buildings replicating a large urban environment. It can be used for raid training, non-combatant evacuation (NEO) training, or MOUT operations. UTC Zone C can be used in conjunction with other UTC zones for large scale scenarios and events. The use of SESAMs is authorized.

URBAN TRAINING CENTER (UTC) ZONE D (SOP):

  • Primary Use: MOUT training (non-live-fire). Comprised of 9 modular buildings replicating a small urban environment. It can be used for non-kinetic events and MISO training. UTC Zone D can be used in conjunction with other UTC zones for large scale scenarios and events. The use of SESAMs, blanks and/or any pyrotechniques is not authorized.

VILLAGE 1 (SOP):

  • Primary Use: MOUT training (non-live-fire). Comprised of several Relocatable Housing Units (RHUs) intended to simulate a small, farm like mud hut village. It can be used for raid training, non-combatant evacuation (NEO) training, or limited MOUT type training due to its small size. The use of SESAMs is authorized. 
  • Alternate Uses: None
  • Weapons Capabilities: Urban (non-live-fire)

  • Primary Use: MOUT training (non-live-fire). Comprised of several Relocatable Housing Units (RHUs) intended to simulate a small, farm like mud hut village.
