Army Volunteer Corps

The Army Volunteer Corps provides placement opportunities for volunteers based on interest and agency needs. The AVC assists volunteer organizations with recruitment, training and guidance for volunteer recognition. Joining the Schweinfurt volunteer team enables you to gain valuable work experience while helping others. Volunteers support the Garrison mission in a variety of capacities.  We are currently recruiting volunteers to fill open positions. <link to the Jolt

Being a member of “Team ACS” - One great thing about Army Community Service is diversity! Many volunteer occasions unfold throughout the year. Don’t worry, training can be provided! As an ACS volunteer, you’ll have an opportunity to assist our staff with a wide range of activities, allowing you to learn as you go. As an ACS volunteer, we’ll work with your schedule and be as flexible as possible, although dependability is essential and expected. Remember with ACS the sky is the limit!

VMIS Support

Volunteers are required to register in the central database and to report hours weekly. The registration process is quick and easy. Go to http://www.myarmyonesource.com/ click on the "Volunteer Tools" button and apply for an opportunity.

Once registered, users can search for opportunities, complete volunteer forms, apply for opportunities, and manage volunteer hours in the Volunteer Management Information System (VMIS).  For additional support “LIVE CHAT” tech support is available
