Welcome to the Interservice Postal Training Activity Website! 

The Interservice Postal Training Activity is located in Building 2375 Beauregard St., (Across the street from the Army NCO Academy). 
All Army will still report to C Company, Training Support Battalion (TSB), Bldg 3205 Magruder Avenue. All Marines and Air Force will report to Building 2375 for in-processing.

Director, Interservice Postal Training Activity


Chief Warrant Officer III – Isaias G. Rodriguez was born on April 19, 1973, in Sterling City, Texas. He enlisted in the Marine Corps on October 19, 1994. Upon completion of recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, California, he was transferred to Headquarters & Service Battalion, Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia where he was assigned to the Marine Corps Base Post Office. During this tour he was promoted to the ranks of Lance Corporal and Corporal.
In August 1998, he was relocated to Manpower and Reserve Affairs / Postal Affairs (MRP-3), Quantico, Virginia, and was assigned to the Official Mail Section. During this tour he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
In March 1999, he was transferred to Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar, California, and was assigned as the Senior Mailroom Inspector for the III Marine Air Wing and Postal Platoon Sergeant.
In January 2002, he was transferred to the Fleet Mail Center, Naval Air Station, Rota, Spain. During this tour he was assigned as the Staff Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, Assistant Custodian of Postal Effects and the Postal Finance Officer. During this tour he was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant and was selected to the rank of Warrant Officer.
In February 2004, he was assigned to Temporary Additional Duty at the Warrant Officer Basic Course, The Basic School, Quantico, Virginia. Upon graduation in May 2004, he returned to the Fleet Mail Center and assumed the duties as Quality Assurance and Quality Control Officer for the Navy Supply Department.
In July 2004, he was transferred to 1st Force Service Support Group, Camp Pendleton, California, and was assigned the duties as the Postal Operations Officer. During August 2004, he was forward deployed as the Al Asad Postal Officer with the I Marine Expeditionary Force, 1st Force Service Support Group (FWD), Combat Service Support Battalion 7, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II.II, he returned to Camp Pendleton in March 2005. During this tour he was promoted to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer II.
In June 2007, he was transferred to the Joint Military Postal Activity – Pacific, San Francisco, California. During this tour he was assigned as the Executive Officer and was promoted to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer III.
In August 2010, he was transferred to Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, and was assigned as the Installation Postal Officer.
In August 2012, he was transferred to his current assignment as the Director, Inter-service Postal Training Activity, Soldier Support Institute, Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
Chief Warrant Officer III Rodriguez is married with 4 children.
His personal decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Marine Corps Commendation Medal with one Gold Star, Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal and a Good Conduct Medal with two Bronze Stars.

1SG FordMr Michael W. Gasque
Deputy Director, Interservice Postal Training Activity

Mr. Gasque is the Interservice Postal Training Activity Deputy Director
and Training Supervisor at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina.
Prior to this position, Mr Gasque spent 30 years in the United States
Air Force. He served over 22 years in the Military Postal System
performing all facets of military mail operations. Mr. Gasque finished
his military career as the Interservice Postal Training Activity Senior
Enlisted Advisor.

Enlisting in the Air Force in September 1977, he faithfully served until his retirement on
1 October 2007 at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (E9). He was assigned throughout the
world with tours in Texas, The Philippines, Virginia, Japan, Florida, Republic of Panama,
United Kingdom (twice), South Carolina, Hawaii and culminating his military career at Fort
Jackson South Carolina. Numerous temporary duty tours included Korea, Australia, New
Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Pakistan, Egypt and Canada.
Mr. Gasque’s military education includes the NCO Preparatory Course, NCO Leadership
School, NCO Academy (Distinguished Graduate and Military Achievement Award Recipient),
and the Senior NCO Academy. His civilian education consists of a Community College of The
Air Force Associate’s Degree in Information Management, University of Maryland Associate of
Art’s Degree in Management Studies and a Wayland Baptist University Bachelor of Science
Degree in Occupational Education.
His awards and decorations includes the Meritorious Service Medal with Five Oak Leaf
Clusters, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Joint Service
Achievement Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal and the National
Defense Service Medal with One Device. Other notable professional achievements include the
48th Mission Support Squadron Senior NCO of The Year, Ninth Air Force Postal Professional
of The Year, United States Air Forces Europe Postal Professional of The Year and the United
States Air Force Postal Professional of The Year. Under his leadership, his postal unit in
Europe was selected as the United States Air Force Aerial Mail Terminal of The Year for 2000.
Mr. Gasque is married with 2 children.
