Accreditation is an Army QA Program function that helps assure the command that the learning institution's DOTMLPF domains enable the institution to develop Soldiers and leaders with the competency needs of today's Army and the Operating Force. It focuses the commander's attention on the state of the institutions programs and processes across its DOTMLPF domains against TRADOC-approved Army accreditation standards. The Army Enterprise Accreditation Standards provide the means to assess and improve education and training programs, as well as design, development, and integration of capabilities, concepts, and doctrine.

SSI QAO operates and maintains an intensive survey program. All students are given an opportunity to complete an end-of-course survey regarding their course of instruction and various installation support services. Course graduates and their supervisors are invited to complete graduate surveys between four and six months after graduation regarding skills, knowledge, and tasks used on the job. Job analysis surveys are conducted prior to Critical Task and Site Selection Board proceedings. The information obtained through these surveys is used to improve our training programs; ultimately ensuring the SSI provides the Army with Soldiers, Civilians, and Leaders trained and ready to perform their duties.
