In response to S.B. 1828 passed by the 78th Texas Legislature in Regular Session, 2003, the TSSWCB presents semiannual reviews of its programs and activities. S.B. 1828 added §201.028 to the Texas Agriculture Code to provide that the TSSWCB shall prepare and deliver to the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives a report, not later than January 1 and July 1 of each year, relating to the status of the budget areas of responsibility assigned to the TSSWCB including outreach programs, grants made and received, federal funding applied for and received, special projects, and oversight of soil and water conservation district activities.
