The Seattle Regional Office administers funding for the following ACF Programs:
Child Care
Child Care funds assist states in subsidizing the cost of child care for low-income families in which parents are working or pursuing education or training.Child Support Enforcement
Child Support Enforcement funds help states enforce child support payments, establish paternity, and issue support orders according to state laws.Child Welfare
Child Welfare funds support state efforts to prevent child abuse and neglect, preserve families, and facilitate adoption and foster care placement.Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB)
The Bureau promotes positive outcomes for children, youth, and families by supporting a wide range of comprehensive services and collaborations at the local, Tribal, State, and national levels.Grants Management
Grants Management works with the Region 10 program teams to carry out grant administration.Head Start/Early Head Start
Head Start/Early Head Start funds help local organizations provide child and family development programs for children age 0 to 5 and their families, with an emphasis on school readiness.- Head Start Training & Technical Assistance
The Training & Technical Assistance team supports Head Start and Early Head Start Grantees in identifying and fulfilling training needs. Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF)
TANF funds help states provide temporary assistance to families with children when parents or other responsible relatives cannot provide for the family's basic needs.Tribal Programs
Tribal programs support Native American organizations in providing ACF services to their communities.
