Provides resources for general grants and funding information for invasive species. A listing of requests for proposals is available on the Request for Proposals page. Information for grants that have been awarded are available on the Funds Awarded page.

Federal Government

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Grant and Partnership Programs that Can Address Invasive Species Research, Technical Assistance, Prevention and Control (Jan 2009; PDF | 133 KB)
United States Department of Agriculture.
This workbook contains basic information on programs in USDA that could be used to fund invasive species related projects. This list should be a helpful place to start a search for resources for invasive species activities but by no means represents the complete universe of potential invasive species funding opportunities.
Note: Prior year's grant information:

Invasive Species - Grants / Integrated Pest Management - Grants / All CSREES Grants
USDA. Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service.

Legacy Resource Management Program
United States Department of Defense.

Program of Research on the Economics of Invasive Species Management (PREISM)
USDA. Economic Research Service.

Grassland Reserve Program
USDA. Natural Resources Conservation Service.

Wildlife Habitat Incentives Program (WHIP)
USDA. Natural Resources Conservation Service.
The Wildlife Habitat Incentives Program (WHIP) is a voluntary program for people who want to develop and improve wildlife habitat primarily on private land. Through WHIP, USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service provides technical and financial assistance to establish and improve fish and wildlife habitat. One WHIP priority is reducing the impacts of invasive species on wildlife habitats. Applications are accepted by NRCS on a continuous basis throughout the year with cutoff dates to evaluate, rank, prioritize and select applicants.
