General Resources EcoAction Environment Canada Since 1995, Environment Canada's EcoAction Community Funding Program has provided financial support to community groups for projects that have measurable, positive impacts on the environment. Projects submitted should follow the themes of climate change, clean water, nature and/or clean air. Grants.gov This site allows organizations to electronically find and apply for competitive grant opportunities from all Federal grant-making agencies. Great Lakes Fishery Trust Grant Information Fishing access, fisheries research, fisheries education needs assessment and more. Great Lakes Program Funding U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Great Lakes National Program Office (GLNPO) A complete set of information about the U.S. EPA Great Lakes funding process, from preproposal submission, project requirements to descriptions of funded projects. Also includes other federal Great Lakes funding opportunities. Great Lakes Protection Fund The Fund seeks projects that lead to tangible improvements in the health of the Great Lakes ecosystem and promote the interdependence of healthy ecological and economic systems. About the Guide The newest section on the Great Lakes Information Network (GLIN) streamlines the process of searching for Great Lakes-related funding opportunities online. Unveiled on Nov. 1, 2001, the site offers a fully searchable database of well over 100 grant, fellowship and scholarship sources that have relevance for the Great Lakes audience. The database will be updated weekly and enhanced over time. Funding for this project was through a grant from the U.S. EPA-Great Lakes National Program Office.
