With nearly 8,000 acres of water available, boating is a very popular activity at Pomme de Terre Lake. Boat launching ramps are available in all parks with the exception of Damsite. For information on day use fees click on Recreation Fee Program.
Marinas are located at Lightfoot Landing, Nemo Landing, Quarry Point, and the Pittsburg Area of Pomme de Terre State Park. The Marinas offer a wide range of services and supplies, including boat rentals, fuel, fishing tackle, and restaurants.
Beginning January 1, 2005, all persons born after January 1, 1984, who operate any vessel on the lakes of the state of Missouri, must have on board his or her boating safety identification card issued by the Missouri State Water Patrol. Laws pertaining to the operation and licensing of watercraft on Pomme de Terre Lake are those of the State of Missouri and are enforced by the Missouri State Water Patrol.
