"The legislative session has now come to a close.

Bills ranging from affordable housing and homelessness efforts to a comprehensive tax relief package were proposed and heard before the state Legislature.

As Governor, I have until July 10th to carefully review the bills that have been passed and then either sign, veto or let them become law without my signature.

During this review period, my Administration will thoughtfully and thoroughly consider each piece of legislation.  Each bill will be reviewed by my staff and the appropriate Department.

We also welcome public input and urge you to call, email or fax my office to make your voices heard on these important initiatives.

I also encourage you to visit my website at www.hawaii.gov/gov for updates on bills that I have signed into law or vetoed."
