NYT / CBS News poll: Greg Abbott leads Wendy Davis by 12 points among women voters

It’s no big surprise that Texas Attorney General and GOP gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott is leading Democrat Wendy Davis in the polls by a substantial margin heading into next Tuesday’s election.

However, I was shocked to see the margin Abbott is leading Davis by among women voters in the Lone Star State according to a new New York Times/ CBS News poll. In the poll, Abbott is leading Davis by a whopping 12 points among women voters in Texas, 49-37%.
