AUSA 2016, October 3-5, Washington, DC
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) will be exhibiting at the 2016 AUSA Annual Meeting, October 3-5. This annual event, hosted by the United States Army, will take place at the Washington DC Convention Center. Come visit the DHS Homeland Security Pavilion (Hall A, booth #225-227) and don’t miss this unique opportunity to meet with S&T scientists and engineers and hear how S&T is partnering with industry innovators to develop 21C technology solutions. Also on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 9:30am, DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson will provide keynote remarks on the important role the DHS and US military partnership plays in securing the homeland.

2016 Government Cyber Security SBIR Workshop - August 30 - September 1, 2016 - Washington, DC: The 2016 Government Cyber Security Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Workshop will focus on maximizing technology transition opportunities for SBIR funded research. The workshop will feature short presentations by funded small businesses describing their products and technologies, prime contractors identifying their programs and needs and government stakeholders describing their mission and requirements. Private one-on-one sessions will be held for integrators, government, and/or investors to discuss partnering, tech transition and business opportunities with small businesses. Transition to Practice Technology Demonstration Day for the Energy Sector, May 18, 2016 | Houston, TX
The Transition to Practice (TTP) program focuses on transitioning promising cybersecurity technologies developed in Federal laboratories into the private sector for further development into commercially viable products with potential for widespread distribution in the marketplace. This TTP event showcases seven innovative cybersecurity technologies, from the 2015 class, developed by the Department of Energy and National Science Foundation funded university projects. These technologies have the potential to significantly strengthen an organization’s cybersecurity posture. Hear directly about these new technologies from the research teams that produced them, and join in discussions with technology investors from private industry on piloting the technologies and other areas of interest for driving further cybersecurity research.
