The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) must rapidly identify and develop technologies to counter emerging threats. The Cyber Security Division (CSD) conducts and supports research, development, testing, and evaluation to secure the nation’s current critical information infrastructure and to plan for a more secure infrastructure in the future. Protecting the nations’ financial services sector critical infrastructure against cyber threats is a pressing priority. By bringing together technology startups, investors, FSS leaders and stakeholders, DHS S&T CSD seeks to develop unique technological solutions to help resolve some of the cybersecurity vulnerabilities currently affecting the financial sector.
The DHS S&T Silicon Valley Innovation Program will host a Homeland Security Day in Boston on November 14. This event will provide technology startups and investors with an opportunity to learn more about CSD’s endeavors, the technologies being used to combat cyber threats, and technical areas of interest to CSD and the FSS. The common goal is leveraging creative ideas and solutions to enhance mission capability. By participating, you’ll have the chance to help shape the program direction and impact the Country’s financial stability.
