13th Annual Pirastro Strings Elite Soloists Program

The Elite Soloists Program will accept only 5 students by audition to study with Jeff Bradetich. Daily lessons and solo classes will be held in a highly individualized program. Last year’s class included participants from major orchestras and young professionals. To apply, send a CD or DVD of two different solo works to Jeff Bradetich, 1155 Union Circle #311367, Denton, TX 76203 by March 1, 2014. Thanks to the generous support of Pirastro Strings, this program offers free tuition, room and board.

Participants will also have the opportunity to experience Alexander Technique in a workshop setting, taught by Phyllis Richmond, M.A., MSTAT. Ms. Richmond will introduce the principles and practices of Alexander Technique that enable musicians to stop creating unnecessary tension and effort; improve posture, coordination, and breathing; and perform with increased comfort and ease by using the whole body in a new way.
