Since the acquisition, +Eric Schmidt, and practically the rest of +Google, had emphasized that +Motorola Mobility's patent portfolio could help protect the entire +Android ecosystem, the entire consumer industry, and openness and innovation. It was a major reason as to why Google made the investment in the first place.

Exactly how is Motorola being illegal here while Apple's suits are perfectly fine? Also I have a hard time seeing a failing consumer electronics company as a monopoly. Once again we see how government logic differs from logic.
