A questions to my fellow Galaxy Nexus owners regarding MMS messaging. I can neither send nor receive picture messages. I've gone through forums and tried to resolve the issue, but no luck.

It seems to be a common issue with other carriers, not just Verizon. What I've tried as per troubleshooting thread suggestions:
Reboot.
Switched LTE/CDMA to CDMA only, reboot.
LTE/CDMA. Reboot.
Wi-Fi only.
Data only....

You can opt out of Google tracking, and have been able to do so for a long time.

Right on Google, what will stop me from buying the rest of the Nik software
I recently got an email from Google stating they have acquired Nik software. They  included that I qualify for a free copy of HDR Pro 2.  I sent them an email asking them how do I get the software and this is what  got from Google.

Wish you could see the Coral Triangle? Well, #Google is now offering a free 360-degree underwater view from the region. Scroll across the ocean floor without a mask or snorkel and take in the unique reef diversity—corals of different sizes and textures, sponges, colorful reef fish—see what you can discover! Go WWF!!! I am backing you up! I also have a great idea. Electoral system  prevents third party members from becoming president. This includes the Green Party, which is strongly environmental. You guys should have a campaign to help switch the presidential electing system to the third-party friendly popular vote. This could help our government to take action against enviromental issues if a Green Party member becomes president of the United Sates of America.

Google went offline briefly for 30 minutes in some regions this week. As such, we ask: how reliant on online services have we become?

If Google went down, I'd probably assume it was a problem with my ISP, or cell service provider... a testament to how much faith I have in Google!

#Google   #Nexus  4 review in short:
Good: LG build quality, fast, Android 4.2
Bad: No LTE, No microSD storage (that's ok with me), Internal battery (i don't mind)
Conclusion: It's the phone to buy if you don't want iOS or the Samsung S3 is too big.

I still prefer the iPhone 4S for its size and overall features, but this Nexus 4 is the second best.

The Nexus 4 is the best phone yet from Google's premier Android line - but that doesn't mean it comes without compromise.

I'm not sure why you included Facebook in the list of useful things, but yes, did you not watch the video from Google where it does all those things? Continually videoing or taking pictures would seriously drain battery life, you'd only do that in a demo.

Maybe someone else with #googletv  can explain something to me.

US election results came in quite early here in on the West Coast, not long after 8 pm last night. So I decided to watch a movie. Google Play is available now for Sony NSZ-GS7 Internet Player with Google TV, so I shopped for a movie and rented "Fire with Fire" in HD.

Except it wasn't HD that I could see. The player designated HD, but I ...

Damn....never realized there were THAT many file manager options...and the one I've typically used, Root Browser Lite, isn't even on the list.

But since CM10 included their own file manager app in their nightlies about a week ago, I've been using that.

Just tried out Solid Explorer. Seems like a prettier version of X-plore, which is a good thing. But I can't seem to access /, even though I'm rooted and have updated Busy Box. Without root access, it's just not as useful as X-plore.
