Nexus 5!! But unfortunately sprint doesn't support the 32gb until Friday. But I love the phone over all. Anyone else having the same issue?

So was there ever a definitive answer on best Buy's price if you;re already with AT&T? I'm happy to re-up my contract to get the lower price, but seems like Best Buy are only offering that option for Sprint and T-Mobile.

Thing is, I would even think on switching - but both of those have terrible LTE coverage in my city, so I need to stick with AT&T.

Another thing I notice - Best Buy is only selling the 16GB model. I want the 32GB. Think maybe I'll just get the 16 initially, then sell it and upgrade when either Best Buy starts carrying the 32GB or when Google Play delivery times get less crazy.

Got my Nexus 5 yesterday, switched service today from Sprint to T-Mobile and voila. Real. Fast. Reliable. Data.

Compare to the picture I took of my Sprint SIII data speeds on the "Now-ish Network"...

I could no be happier. Bill is cheaper per month, the data speeds and coverage cannot be argued with, and I own my phone outright - no contract.

Oh by the way - Sprint SIII white 32GB for sale!

+Robert Campbell Yes, but the article said that 4.4 could run on devices with 256MB of memory, and I believe that it's actually 512MB.

It doesn't particularly have to to do with the Galaxy Nexus, just me being pedantic.

I have had my differences with T-Mobile, but the fact I was able to take the SIM from my non-LTE Nexus 4 and use it to instantly get LTE on the Nexus 5 is a good thing. It's bizarre people are having issues with Sprint and AT&T provisioning the phone. You should not need to call customer service to swap phones (especially on GSM).

This really illustrates how unprepared carriers are for affordable unlocked devices on 4G networks.

I'm anticipating issues with that when I upgrade to the 5 as well... (I'm using your wife's old N4 right now, not sure if you remember me) but I actually brought this phone (the 4) into ATT a while back just to make sure it was provisioned correctly, and they almost made it sound like as soon as the phone's signal hit the tower, it would automatically provision it to whatever type of network it needed. Not sure i believed that...

Well I've just updated my rom to the test beta version of jelly bomb rom on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 from sprint and it's got the stock kit kat launcher. Oh how I love this baby it's so nice! Great work Josh Beach!

So I have a question. I bought the Nexus 5 from the Play Store. I see the specs say that it has GSM, WCDMA, CDMA, and LTE radios built in. Are all of them active? I currently have service through Sprint and T-Mobile. Anyone know if - and I'm sure the answer is no - I could get the one phone activated on both carriers? Is that something I'd have to wait for the dev community to come up with? Or are there different phones for different carrier types? Any information just helps feed my curiosity.

Has anyone had any luck getting their Nexus 5 to work on Sprint's network? I wanted to move to T-mobile with my new nexus 5, but it turns out I'm still on contract with Sprint until February. So my next plan was to just swap phones and use my Nexus 5 on Sprint until my contract is up. I went to the Sprint store today and the sales associate told me that I couldn't use the Nexus 5 ordered from the Google Play store on Sprint. I know that this isn't true and I'm assuming that this employee was just misinformed.

For those of you that have been able to get your Google Play ordered Nexus 5 working on Sprint, how did you do it? Did changing phones cause your contract to be extended or any weird catches like that?
