STUDENT TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM
(STEP)
The Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP) is similar to SCEP in that you’ll gain valuable professional experience in a flexible federal environment. However, unlike SCEP, you have more flexibility in what you do, because your work does not have to be directly related to your academic program and career goals. STEP can range from summer employment to positions that can last for as long as you’re a student.
