COURSE

The NPC-50 will be run at the U.S. Secret Service Training Center in Laurel, MD. Runners will follow a flat, fast, certified, five-kilometer (3.1 mile) loop course on an asphalt surface. One and two mile marks will be noted. Water is available near both mile markers. All ten team members will run the same course, one after the other.

We will continue to use a STAGGERED START as follows:

All Leg #1 runners will start together at 8:30am.
All Leg #2 runners start together at 8:45 am.
Leg #3 – 9:00am
Leg #4 – 9:15am
Leg #5 – 9:30am
Leg #6 – 9:45am
Leg #7 – 10:00am
Leg #8 – 10:15am
Leg #9 – 10:30am
Leg #10 – 10:45am

Each team’s official time will be the cumulative total of all 10 runners’ times.
