Pay.gov is a collection portal that offers five major services:
Collections: collects and processes agency ACH Debit and Credit Card transactions.
Billing/Notification: allows agencies to notify their customers of payment due and facilitate the collection online.
Forms: Pay.gov hosts agency forms, used to gather information for administrative purposes or to initiate an associated collection.
Reporting Service: provides an extensive range of reports, allowing transaction reconciliation.
Verification Service: enables agencies to authenticate potential customers of their site.
