HR Connect


Description

The HR Connect program manages the overall modernization efforts of Treasury human resources systems through deployment of HR Connect, Treasury's state-of-the-art HR management system and serves as the official Departmental liaison to the National Finance Center (NFC), Treasury's payroll provider. HR Connect was selected by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) in August 2005 as one of five Shared Service Centers under the Human Resources Line of Business (HR LOB) .

System Description – The HR Connect system is currently operational in 11 Treasury bureaus and in components of the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice. The Department of Housing and Urban Development is fully deploying HR Connect.

Program Description – The HR Connect program improves HR systems and service delivery through the application of innovative enterprise-wide technology.
