HR Connect

career connector

CareerConnector is Treasury’s automated applicant rating solution which is used in conjunction with The Office of Personnel Management’s USAJOBS system. Applicants can search and apply for positions online using USAJOBS and CareerConnector. The result is a seamless experience for applicants and automatically rated applications for Human Resources Professionals.  By eliminating the paper based process, the time to fill vacancies with qualified candidates can be significantly reduced.

Using USAJOBS and CareerConnector, applicants are able to:

  • Receive automatic email notifications of new job postings throughout the Department of Treasury
  • Search and apply for positions online
  • Create and store up to 5 online resumes
  • Answer a job specific questionnaire in lieu of lengthy KSA responses.

With CareerConnector, recruiting offices are able to:

  • Accept applications at anytime in a safe and secure manner
  • Manage thousands of applications submitted for positions

CareerConnector is being deployed to Human Resources offices throughout Treasury and at former Treasury bureaus (the U.S. Secret Service and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) in a phased implementation.
