Most society and association standards and specifications are not freely available full-text on the Internet. This page will link to the associations and societies that publish standards and specifications, their catalogs, and any information we have on obtaining the publications full text, as well as known publications offered online at no cost.

Now available is NSSN: A National Resource for Global Standards. An easy way to search for a specification or standard, or to verify the currency of a particular document version, is to search the NSSN: A National Resource for Global Standards. The NSSN has both a Basic and an Enhanced level of service. The Basic level is free and allows you to perform searches by document number or keyword. Once you locate a document, the NSSN provides you with information on how to order them.

IHS Specs & Standards, CatalogXpress - From the dropdown list under the Corps logo choose Non Government Standards. This USACE HQ initiative provides access to some non-government standards and commercial catalogs, including ASTM, DOD, ASME and others.

Construction Criteria Base Online - CCB is an extensive electronic library of construction guide specifications, manuals, standards and many other essential criteria documents, available through the Whole Building Design Guide website. Published and updated continuously, CCB contains the complete unabridged, approved, current electronic equivalents of over 10,000 documents.
