Residency Programs
Pharmacists who wish to acquire further knowledge and experience in clinical pharmacy should consider a residency program after completion of the doctor of pharmacy degree.
Residencies are generally one year in length and are paid positions that give the individual further knowledge and experience in various pharmacy settings. The College of Pharmacy offers residencies in the following areas:
- Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University Medical Center
- Specialized Residency in Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy
- Specialized Residency in Nutrition Support Pharmacy Practice
- Specialized Residency in Critical Care Medicine
- Fry's Community Pharmacy Residency Program
Start Date: July 1
Application Deadline: Second Friday in January
The College of Pharmacy has affiliations with ASHP-accredited and other residency programs at additional sites in Arizona.
