PURPOSE

The Annual Meeting Scientific Program Advisory Panel was created to:

1. Ensure Annual Meeting programming on scientific research is high-quality, utilizes diverse delivery formats, and focuses on emerging science/research.  
2. Offer thematic programming or other key issue programming that meets changing demographics, trends and interests. 
3. Build cohesiveness among the AMSPAP and the Scientific Program and New Products and Technologies Sub Panels, Division Competitions and Divisions. 
4. Assess the success of the scientific program and poster sessions based on the post-annual meeting evaluations, and utilize feedback for future planning to ensure program remains to be relevant, of high quality and with cutting-edge content. 
5. Increase constructive and global collaboration among industry, academics, government employees and young professionals.
6. Enhance technical sessions for student attendees.
