Distinguished Lectureship Program
Every IFT Section, Subsection, and Regional Meeting is entitled to one lecturer during a program year, within limitations of the program budget. Speakers are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and depend upon the availability of the requested speaker and the program budget.
IFT will provide each Section with $500 upon confirmation of their DLP visit. All reimbursements will be handled directly by the Section. Sections are encouraged to make arrangements for prepayment of local expenses, such as hotel, meals, transportation, etc.
Lecturers will not receive an honorarium from IFT. If your Section is willing and able to provide an honorarium, it should be no greater than $200, but may be less.
