FIJI - FINLAND - FRANCE - FRENCH GUIANA - FRENCH POLYNESIA

FIJI - *Passport with minimum validity of 3 months remaining, proof of sufficient funds, and onward/return ticket required. Visa not required for stay of up to 4 months. All visitors over age 12 are required to pay a $25 departure tax in Fijian currency. HIV testing required for stays exceeding 6 months. FINLAND - *Passport required. Tourist/business visa not required for stay of up to 90 days. (**The 90-day period begins when entering Schengen countries). For longer stays (e.g., employment, studies) residence/work permits are required. Visa requires 1 application form, 1 passport sized photo, an invitation letter and proof of hotel reservation. Onward/return ticket and proof of sufficient funds also required. Visitors must also have valid travelers or medical insurance, which is valid during the whole stay. Visa not required for visit, of up to 1 month. However, or stays between 1 and 3 months, visa is required. Visa requires 1 application for short stay visa, valid passport and photocopy, onward/return ticket, proof of accommodation, proof of valid health/accident insurance and 1 copy proof of sufficient funds (last 2 bank statements and 1 copy), and appropriate fee. Business travelers require a letter from employer guaranteeing travel expenses. Minors traveling alone must have notarized parental authorization signed by both parents or by non-accompanying parent. GABON - *Passport and visa required. For a stay of up to 4 months, submit 2 application forms, 2 photos, vaccination certificate for yellow fever, a letter from sponsor or hotel in Gabon, and pay a $100 fee. Business visas also require a company letter. GAMBIA, THE - *Passport, visa, and proof of yellow fever vaccination required. To obtain a tourist/business visa for a stay of up to 1 year, submit a valid passport, 1 application, 2 photos, and pay a $75 fee (money order only). For a business visa, include a company letter stating purpose of visit and itinerary. Allow at least 2 weeks for processing. Include prepaid envelope for return of passport by mail. GEORGIA - *A passport is required. U.S. citizens visiting for ninety days or less do not need a visa to enter Georgia. Armenian and Azerbaijani visas are no longer valid for transit through Georgia. GRENADA - Passport is recommended, but tourists may enter with birth certificate, photo ID, and onward/return ticket. GUINEA - *Passport and visa required. Tourist/business visa for a stay of up to 6 months requires 3 application forms, 3 photos, onward/return ticket, letter-of-purpose, International Vaccination record showing current yellow fever vaccination, and $100 fee (cash or money order only). GUINEA-BISSAU - *Passport, onward/return ticket, and visa required. Visa must be obtained in advance. The Embassy of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau is closed. Those needing visas should call Guinea-Bissau’s representative in the U.S. (301/947-3958).

GUYANA - *Passport and onward/return ticket required. Upon arrival, visa granted for 30-day stay. Extensions may be obtained. For longer stays, visa requires 3 application forms, passport with a minimum of 6 months validity, and 3 passport sized photos. Proof of sufficient funds requires. If planning to work in Guyana a letter of approval must be obtained from the Ministry of Home Affairs. Visa fee is $30 for tourist visa, $40 single-entry business visa, $50 multiple entry business visa (valid 3 months), and $75 multiple-entry business visa (valid 1 year). Some countries require that your U.S. passport be valid at least 6 months or longer beyond the dates of your trip. If your passport expires before the required validity, you will have to apply for a new one.
