AFGHANISTAN - *Passport and visa required. Visa requires one application form, one passport-sized photo attached to application form, a passports with minimum of six months validity, an invitation letter from employer or sponsor, and proof of sufficient funds. Visa fee processed in 2 weeks $50, three days $70, and 24 hrs $100; must be paid with money order or cashier’s check. ALBANIA - A passport is required. All travelers entering or exiting Albania must have six months or more validity on their passport. Customs officers strictly enforce this law. A traveler does not have to obtain a visa prior to entering Albania. An entry card will be issued at the point of entry that is valid for a stay of up to 30 days for a fee of ten Euros, or the equivalent in any easily convertible currency, including U.S. dollars. An extension of up to 60 days (90 days total) may be obtained by applying at the local police station. For stays exceeding 90 days, those interested must apply for a Residency Permit at the police station with jurisdiction over the city of residence. There is also a departure fee of ten Euros, or the equivalent in any easily convertible currency, including U.S. dollars. ALGERIA - *Passport and visa required. Obtain visa prior to arrival. Visa applications must be typed. Handwritten visa applications will not be accepted. Visa required for stays up to 90 days. Provide 2 application forms, 2 photos, and a non-refundable $100 fee (money order or certified check). Tourist visas require an itinerary from an airline and a hotel reservation. Business visas require an invitation from the company being visited and a company letter stating the trip’s purpose. Work visas require an employment authorization hand delivered by the Algerian Ministry of Labor. Family guest visit visas require a notarized invitation letter from host in Algeria. Enclose a SASE for return of passport by registered, certified or express mail. Visas valid for 45 days from date of issuance. ANGOLA - *Passport, visa, and International Certificate of Vaccination required. Certificate must show inoculations against yellow fever. Failure to do so may result in involuntary vaccinations and/or fines. Tourist visas require 2 application forms, Passport with validity of six months remaining, 1 recent photo with name on back, letter stating purpose of travel, letter of invitation sent by the individual or institution to be contacted in Angola, photocopy of a roundtrip ticket or travel itinerary, roof of sufficient funds ($100 per day – bank statement or letter from employer will suffice), and $110 fee (certified check or money order only). Visa valid for stays up to 90 days. HIV test required for all foreigners applying for work visas and resident permits. ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA - Passport with minimum validity of six months or proof of U.S. citizenship such as certified birth certificate along with picture ID required. Return/onward ticket, and proof of funds required for tourist stay of up to 6 months. Visa requires completed application, two black and white photos (2 ½” x 2), $30 visa fee (money order) required for single entry and $35 for multiple entry. ARGENTINA - *Passport required. Visa not required for business/tourist stay of up to 90 days. ARMENIA- *Passport and visa required. Visa for stay up to 21 days, requires 1 application form, 1 photo and $60 to $95 processing fee (fees vary according processing time). For stays longer than 21 days, but not exceeding 90 days, an official invitation from a qualifying entity in Armenia is required ($35 to $65 fee). No fee for children under 18 years of age. If applying by mail, enclose SASE or prepaid airbill indicating type of mail service (i.e. Federal Express, etc.), and money order or certified check in the appropriate amount, payable to the Embassy of Armenia. ARUBA - Passport or proof of citizenship (original official birth or naturalization certificate and photo ID) required. Visa not required for stay of up to 90 days. Proof of onward/return ticket or sufficient funds for stay may be required. Airport facility charge is $32, paid upon departure. Fee is included in tickets purchased in the U.S. HIV test required for intending immigrants. AUSTRALIA - *Passport, Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) or non-electronic label visa, proof of onward or return ticket, and sufficient funds are required. An ETA or non-electronic label visa is required for tourist or business stays of up to 3 months. An ETA is an electronically stored authority to travel to Australia and can be obtained online at www.ETA.immi.gov.au or through participating travel agencies or airlines. Minors not accompanied by a parent or traveling with only one parent need notarized written parental consent from the absent parent(s). HIV test required for permanent resident visa for applicants age 15 and older; tests taken in the U.S. are acceptable. AUSTRIA - *Passport required. Visa not required for tourist stay of up to 90 days. (**The 90-day period begins when entering Schengen countries). For stay of up to six months visa requires 1 completed application form, a valid passport, 1 recent photo, onward/return ticket proof of sufficient funds and a notarized letter of invitation. Proof of travel/health/ accident insurance also required. Visa with maximum validity of six months will be issued free of charge for U.S. citizens only. AZERBAIJAN - *Passport and visa required. Visa requires original passport, 1 application form, 2 photos, confirmation from hotel or letter of invitation, and appropriate fee ($20 to $250, according to type and length of visa payable by money order or company check only). Transit and short stay single entry visas (7days) can be obtained at the visa section of the consular department in the airport upon arrival. All travelers staying more than 30 days must register their passports with the local passport-registration authorities.
