Techtextil is the leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens, and is the most important forum for the global technical textiles market.  Discover new materials and innovative concepts!  A total of 23,200 visitors from 80 countries visited Techtextil in 2007, where they were bale to meet 1,119 exhibitors representing 43 countries.

The 2009 Techtextil trade show has been granted Trade Fair Certification by the U.S. Department of Commerce. The fair organizer, Messe Frankfurt USA, is organizing the USA Pavilion at this trade show.

Trade Fair Certification is a cooperative arrangement between private sector trade show organizers and the U.S. government to increase U.S. exports and expand U.S. participation in overseas trade shows.

U.S. exhibitors also receive export assistance services from the U.S. Commercial Service through its domestic assistance centers and overseas offices located at American consulates round the world.

The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) is a non-profit trade association with nearly 2,000 member companies representing the international specialty fabrics marketplace. Member companies range in size from one-person shops to multinational corporations; members' products span the entire spectrum of the specialty fabrics industry, from fiber and fabric suppliers to manufacturers of end products, equipment and hardware.

IFAI facilitates the development, application and promotion of products manufactured by their diverse membership. The associatiom also cooperates with the U.S. Department of Commerce in promoting their trade event in the USA and abroad.
