As one of the largest global fairs for yachting and watersports equipment, "boat 2009 Dusseldorf" fair is an excellent opportunity to showcase your latest products and/or services to both trade professionals and consumers.

More than 1,600 international exhibitors will present their new yachting and watersports equipment and services. There will be 2,000 boats of all shapes and sizes.

Most exhibitors are from Germany, followed by the Netherlands and Italy. However, the U.S. boating industry will have a stronger presence at this year's show, reflecting the increasing importance of the fair for U.S. exporters. An estimated 270,000 visitors are expected to attend.

The American Business Center at boot 2009 Dusseldorf provides you with an opportunity to actively work the show floor of the leading international trade show for boats and accessories. You will have a 5m² booth and you will benefit from our international promotion: Commercial specialists in U.S. Embassies throughout Europe and beyond will actively promote your company to their very best marine industry contacts and encourage them to meet with you at the show. But most importantly, you will have your own bilingual personal assistant, who will make appointments for you at the show, translate, if necessary, and assist you in your marketing efforts.

The American Business Center 5-day package includes:

You can get all of this for an unbeatable participation fee of $3,750.
(Alternatively a 9-day package would come up to $5000.)

The registration deadline for participation in our American Business Center at  boot 2009 is Friday, October 17, 2008.

At no charge, we will (if you want):

  • conduct pre-show promotion on your behalf via our Europe-wide network at other U.S. Embassies and Consulates to alert international distributors that you will be at the show, and invite them to visit your booth.
  • provide market research (in selected markets) and counseling before, during and after the show.
  • provide information about services we offer to exporters of American-made products, including the possibility to be featured on our official U.S. Commercial Service website in Germany to generate additional business leads, for ad hoc interpreting, market research, follow-up services or logistics assistance.
  • introduce you to an International Trade Specialist at your nearest Commerce Department "Export Assistance Center" in the United States.

As described above, the American Business Center is a cost-effective full-scale service that allows U.S. companies which elect not to exhibit or could not do so as the show was already sold out. For participation we charge a fee of $3,750 for 5 days (or $5,000 for 9 days).
