OASCR Joins OBER in Genomes to Life Program

The DOE Office of Biological and Environmental Research (OBER) and Office of Advanced Scientific Computing Research (OASCR) have formed a strategic alliance to meet the challenges of studying complex systems. OASCR fosters and supports fundamental research in advanced scientific computing and computational science applied mathematics, computer science, and networking and operates supercomputer, networking, and related facilities. These tools enable researchers to analyze, model, simulate, and predict complex phenomena relevant to DOE's biological missions. The proposed Genomes to Life program fits readily into this portfolio.
