Salmon Watchers ProgramVolunteer for a Unique Northwest Experience The Salmon Watcher Program trains volunteers to identify and record species and numbers of spawning salmonids in streams in the Lake Washington Watershed and on Vashon Island.
The Salmon Watcher training sessions for 2008 are underway! You need only attend one session to become a volunteer. If you have volunteered with us in the past and would like to volunteer again this year, please just let us know and we'll get you set up. To participate in this program, plan to attend one of the following training sessions, which
are held from 7-9 pm (click on each one for driving directions in Word format): - Thursday, September 4, at Renton Community Center, Renton
- Monday, September 8, at Woodinville City Hall, Woodinville
- Thursday, September 11, at Bellevue City Hall, Bellevue
- Thursday, September 18 at Issaquah Salmon Hatchery, Watershed Science Center, Issaquah
- Tuesday, September 30, at the Good Shepherd Center, Room 221, Seattle **Please note room change from past years**

This program is conducted in cooperation with the King County Water and Land Resources Division, Bellevue Stream Team, Redmond Stream Team, and the cities of Seattle, Bothell, Kirkland, Renton, Woodinville, and the Vashon-Maury Island Land Trust, with support from the King Conservation District.
