Salmon and Trout in King County, Washington State

Salmon in the Greater Lake Washington Watershed

Fish Distribution and Salmon Watcher Site Maps

The Salmon Watcher Program has been going strong since 1996! From this web page you can access maps from the 1996 and 1997 spawning seasons. The maps are constructed from the data collected by Salmon Watcher volunteers surveying in the Lake Washington, Lake Sammamish, and Cedar River Basins.

We would like to hear from you!

We are always curious how our data are being used. If you are using the Salmon Watcher data for anything beyond satisfying your own curiosity, please drop us a line and let us know how you're using it. Please email Jennifer Vanderhoof, Ecologist and Technical Lead for the Salmon Watcher Program with your uses for the data.
