National Security & Emergency Management

Programs by Client

Our nation's security efforts require an integrated approach by all federal agencies. The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) serves not only the U.S. Department of Energy but other federal and state agencies as well.

Bureau of Reclamation (BOR)
ORISE developed and executed exercise plans to test the effectiveness of the security at two of BOR's largest dams.

California Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (CHSEEP)
With staff integrated onto the CHSEEP team, ORISE directly supports the planning and execution of the state's exercise program.

Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (CSEPP)
CSEPP is a partnership between the U.S. Army and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). ORISE works closely with CSEPP to provide the most current, best industry practices for emergency public information and emergency preparedness issues.

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
ORISE supports the FBI in several ways with a rare blend of subject matter expertise from a diverse team of highly qualified veterans of military special operations and federal law enforcement.

U.S. Department of Energy

U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
ORISE is looked upon to provide DHS with the tools to strategically protect our country from all types of natural or man-made threats and disasters.
