F&I Performance

SC has a SC Laboratory Performance Appraisal Process that addresses research activities as well as support activities including Facilities and Infrastructure (F&I). Annual Performance Evaluation and Measurement Plans (PEMP) are prepared for each site and include F&I measures under goal 7 as summarized below:

  • Goal 7: Sustain Excellence in Operating, Maintaining, and Renewing the Facility and Infrastructure Portfolio to Meet Laboratory Needs
  • Objective 7.1: Manage Facilities and Infrastructure in an Efficient and Effective Manner that Optimizes Usage, Minimizes Life Cycle Costs, and Ensures Site Capability to Meet Mission Needs.
  • Objective 7.2: Provide Planning for and Acquire the Facilities and Infrastructure Required to Support Future Laboratory Programs.
