MISSION

The mission of the Financial Operations Division is to control and maintain DISA's appropriated fund accounts as well as funds DISA receives from DoD and non-DoD agencies.

FUNCTIONS

  • Issue allotments to the various DISA field offices.
  • Issue accounting policy and procedures.
  • Manage the NCR installation level appropriated DISA accounts, to include reconciling the DISA appropriated trial balances and general ledgers, managing the intermediate accounting level data, monitoring all disbursements and collections for DISA appropriated funds, and certifying the availability and propriety of funds for the National Capital Region (NCR).
  • Serve as the Point of Contact for the various accounting and finance systems used by DISA.
