MISSION
The mission of the Analysis and Internal Controls Division is to perform analyses, reviews, and studies to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and economy of Agency operations.
FUNCTIONS
- Conduct management studies at the request of DISA organizations or as directed by law or regulation.
- Conduct manpower staffing studies for all DISA organizations.
- Provide Federal/DoD Internal Control Program guidance and direction to ensure Agency compliance with the Federal Managers' Financial Integrity Act and the Chief Financial Officer's Act.
- Manage the Commercial Activities Program (A-76) that establishes Federal policy for the performance of commercial activities and sets forth the procedures for determining functions that should be performed in-house by Government personnel versus contractor personnel.
- Provide cost analysis services to ensure the affordability and cost effectiveness of DISA build/acquired systems.
- Provide independent support for major DISA program/project costing efforts, to include issuing guidance on life cycle cost estimating, cost/benefit analysis, and economic analysis.
